CloudMonix solution is a product hosted in multiple data centers across the world. Our BCP/DR plans consist of the following:
- Customer metadata (settings, user accounts, credentials, etc) is stored in a replicatable data storage that is backed up every 30 minutes and is hosted on the Microsoft Azure platform. Metadata backup data retention is 30 days
- Customer collected monitoring data is replicated across two different Azure data centers. Data retention is 1yr
- Compute resources dedicated to CloudMonix critical operations are all multi-instance and operate from different data centers in the world
- All of the compute resources dedicated to CloudMonix critical operations are rebooted once per day without any windows of outage
- CloudMonix SLA is described in Terms of Use
- Customers are encouraged to monitor the stability of their own tenant, by using external tools to monitor their Monitoring Status URL that can be located on Account Information screen
- In the event of a catastrophic Azure Data Center failure an internal DR plan exists to redeploy compute resources and Customer metadata to a different Azure region within 4-8 hours
- Maximum Response time to critical CloudMonix outages is 4hrs (however, usually it is measured in minutes)
- Internally, CloudMonix is monitored by a number of different tools and from a variety of regions in the world
- Customers are encouraged to subscribe to our Report a Problem forum that is updated with any potential outage information and resolution steps
